We would like to share some general information in relation with the Authorization of Residence for Real Estate Investors, also known as the GOLDEN VISA according with to Law 14/2013 and in its new regulations.

This type of Residency could be applied for investors who undertake a significant investment in Spain. In case of real estate, must be equal or more than 500,000€ for each applicant and free of charges, that means, without MORTGAGE for the first 500.000€.

In case of Bank deposits in Spanish financial institutions, Company Shares or stock of Spanish capital companies with a real and actual business activity, the amount is 1.000.000€. The Law also establishes options for investors in Spanish Public debt securities, Investments funds…

Features of Golden Visa:

It is valid in the whole Spanish national territory

The procedure will be done more quickly.

It doesn’t require continued residence in Spain; one entry per year into Spain is sufficient to request renewal.

It does not involve Fiscal Residence, except if the foreigner voluntarily remains in Spain for more than 183 days.

It allows you to apply for Visa and Residence permit for the investor’s family members at the same time as the investor’s application

Solely authorizes living and working in Spain.
